Program Consent

The Tune Health trial program informs you via SMS/WhatsApp concerning how well you conform to a predefined dietary requirement, such as those for an upcoming medical surgery. The program is currently under evaluation as a potential future product from Tune Health. If you are joining because of a request from your clinician or part of a dietary program, the clinician or program may provide specific nutritional requirements, which Tune Health will use to determine how well you are conforming. Otherwise, the nutritional requirements will be based on well-established dietary plans.

Once you opt into this program by filling out the form and pressing the orange ‘Consent’ button, you will receive a confirmation SMS/WhatsApp message welcoming you to the program. The program lasts approximately 4 weeks, depending on the situation (e.g. if used for pre-surgery purposes).

The welcome message will look as follows if you intend to follow a diet for an upcoming medical surgery:

Welcome to the Tune Health surgery nutrition support program! 🎉 The way you fuel your body now can make a HUGE difference in your recovery. You may opt out of the program anytime by texting STOP to +15592062479. The program will focus on:

✅ High-protein, high-carb meals for strength and healing
✅ Hydration – water is your best friend!

I'll check in often/daily, but text me with questions anytime.

Your first task: Send me a pic of your next meal! 📸"

Following the welcome message, you will send photos of your meals using SMS/WhatsApp for the period of the program. Tune Health will return the following information in response:

  • Nutritional information for the meal in the photo.

  • Guidance on future meals,

  • How well you are progressing

  • Supportive text.

  • Daily summary of your diet.

An example message if you texted a photo of your snack:

“For three slices of turkey bacon, I estimate:

Calories: ~70-100 kcal
Protein: ~6-9g
Carbohydrates: ~0-2g
Fat: ~4-6g

For lunch, let’s aim for a low-sugar, high-protein meal. If you need help planning, just ask!

Make sure you have a glass of water today. Send me a picture if you do.”

This is an example summary text you will receive at the end of each day in the program:

“You ate three solid meals today and got three glasses of water in! 

Your Nutrition Summary for the day: 

61g Protein (aim for ~110g)

  • To support tissue repair and immune function, focus on lean meats, fish, eggs, Greek yogurt, tofu, lentils, and protein shakes.

412 g Carbohydrates (aim for ~200g) 

  • Focus on whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and fiber. 

30 g Fats (aim for ~45-65g)

High-quality fats from avocado, olive oil, nuts, seeds, and fatty fish support cell repair and reduce inflammation.”

Tune Health may ask for additional information through SMS/WhatsApp, which you are not required to answer. You should not provide personal information. The number of messages will be kept to a minimum and only necessary to help you comply with dietary requirements.

You will send and receive text messages from the telephone number +15592062479.

You can opt out of the program anytime by texting STOP to the above telephone number. We will send you an SMS/WhatsApp confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS/WhatsApp messages from us. If you want to join again, sign up as you did the first time, and we will enter you into the program again.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Please don't hesitate to contact your wireless provider if you have any questions about your text plan or data plan.

If you have any questions about privacy, please read our privacy policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service or your clinician, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with third parties.
